My favorite part about summer is watching the sky change colors as the sun sets, so I thought I would put together this makeup tutorial to capture the beautiful colors.

Ombre/Balayage Hair!

Hey everyone!!

Today I just wanted to share with you the latest hair trend. I noticed this trend a while back, but because I don't trust anyone but Nikki B to do my hair it took me a while to find the right stylist.

My Homage to Nikki

Nikki has been doing my hair for alomost 5 years now, and when I moved to London it was so hard to find someone I trust with my hair as much as I trusted her. Most of the time when I went to see Nikki I would jump in her chair and tell her I wanted a change. We would discuss color and cut options, but when it came down to it I always let her do her thing because she is the professional, and she knows my style.

Well in London I have learned I can't quite do that (about 5 times to be precise). Not to say that this city isn't full of fabulous hair stylists, because it is, but I just haven't formed a connection with any of them the way I have with Nikki. She doesn't just cut my hair, but she is my friend as well. I could be having the worst day and one visit with her would turn it all around.

So needles to say, and I am sure you guys can tell, I was attached to her. Even when I go home to visit she is the first person I see, and she touches me up, or fixes anything that may have gone wrong since our last visit. Below is some of the work she has done to my hair throughout the years.

Some of Nikki's Beautiful work!

Ombre Trend

So I knew I wanted this Ombre hair style, but I had to find the right person to do it. I decided to go to the Regis Hair Salon because I saw a tutorial they posted on YouTube, so it proved to me they knew how to executed this trend. I took these photos as inspirations:

Based on the existing coloring of my hair this is what they did:

I absolutely love it!! It came out so nice with the pik-a-boo blonde I already had in my hair.

This style is very low maintenance as you don't need to touch up your roots. All you have to do is treat your hair with deep conditioners and possibly a hair mask every few weeks. This will help add nourishment to your ends to keep them from become damaged and dry.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. Let me know what you think in the comments below! :)

Well that is all for now!!

xoxo
